The BIC Hires A New Executive Director

After a robust selection process, including close to 200 applicants, the Boyd Innovation Center Board of Directors is excited to announce that Sam Herskovitz is our new Executive Director. 

Sam brings over a decade of experience leading enterprise SaaS products from startup to successful exit. As the first Product Manager at The Marcus Buckingham Company (TMBC), he helped grow its core technology platform, StandOut, into a global enterprise talent suite. He then played a key role in its 2017 acquisition by ADP. Sam subsequently served as Head of Product for StandOut and an expanded portfolio of ADP global talent products. He was also a founding member of Design Love In, a technology-enabled consulting and education company focused on designing experiences that drive peak performance, brand loyalty, and advocacy.

Sam is excited to lead the Boyd Innovation Center into its next chapter, building a bold, founder-first ecosystem where big ideas can grow and create lasting impact on the community.

He holds a degree in Psychology and Human Complex Systems from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and lives in Columbia, SC with his wife and two children.
