GRIDLOCK: The Energy Innovation Hackathon

Can you help power the future of South Carolina’s energy grid? Students, innovators, and industry partners: Tackle real-world grid challenges and pitch bold, sustainable solutions that have the ability to transform the energy sector in South Carolina in a two-day hackathon.
Thursday Evening: meet the teams and the challenges in our kickoff event 5-8 p.m. Including snacks from Kiki’s Chicken and Waffles and a presentation by the SC Nexus team about the future of energy grid storage innovation in South Carolina.
Friday All Day: beginning at 9:40 a.m. we tackle three companies’ business challenges and ideate in rounds. A fourth round at 1:10 will synthesize the earlier groups’ work and at 3:00 p.m. we’ll present the solutions to our companies. Lunch provided by No Name Deli.
